Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) *
Benefit from lower asset costs due to equipment repositioning agreements with steamship lines. We work closely with partner ocean carriers to provide “matchback” of international containers. CN loads an import container that would otherwise return to origin empty, with domestic products and consumer goods and ships them across our network. Customers benefit from extra capacity and advantageous rates and ocean carriers don't have to pay to transport empty containers back to their ships at port - a win-win situation for all.
Domestic Repositioning Program (DRP)
CN Brokerage is leading the industry with the most consistent record of customs clearance. We’ll help you avoid potential problems, by classifying goods and determining correct valuations, minimizing tariffs and penalties and reducing storage fees by moving shipments more efficiently.
